Before you nominate
Can you supply the fabric to the export house we already use?
Yes. That is fabric nomination: you approve the quality with us, and we supply the same fabric to your vendors in India. They quote you for making only.
How do we know every vendor gets the same quality?
The quality is approved once against a reference sample, and every vendor is supplied from that standard. If you use several export houses, they all receive the nominated fabric from us.
Do you make the garments yourselves?
No. We place your garment order with a partner export house in Delhi NCR that suits your product and quantity, supply it with our fabric, and check quality against your approved sample before shipment. You deal with us, as you would with a buying agency, from 500 to 10,000 pieces per style.
What are your minimum quantities?
Fabric from 100 m per design in digital print, with better rates from about 500 m; rotary from about 5,000 m per colourway. Garments from 500 pieces per style. Catalogue prints can be sampled from 1 metre.
What are the lead times?
They depend on the construction, process and quantity. Share your target ex-factory date in the form and the costing comes back with a production plan that works to it.
Can we get samples before we commit?
Yes. Lab dips, strike-offs and fabric samples are made for approval before bulk, and can be couriered to you internationally.
Shipping & returns policy for international retail orders
Dispatch time
Ready stock fabric is dispatched in 1-2 working days and printed-to-order fabric within 7 working days of payment. International parcels can need up to 3 extra working days for a second quality check and export documentation. Bulk and custom orders follow the timeline in your proforma invoice.
Delivery time
International orders ship by express courier (FedEx, DHL or UPS) and usually arrive 7-15 working days after dispatch. Customs in the destination country can hold a shipment longer; if that happens the courier contacts you directly. Tracking is shared by email or WhatsApp as soon as the parcel leaves us.
Payment
International orders are prepaid. Bulk and custom orders start production after the agreed advance on the proforma invoice.
Customs duties and taxes
Import duty, brokerage and any taxes in the destination country are paid by the buyer directly to the courier. Clothwala does not pay charges levied in the destination country.
Cancelling an order
An international order can be cancelled only before it is dispatched. We refund the amount paid less the currency conversion and payment fees charged to us. Once dispatched, an order cannot be cancelled and must be accepted at the destination.
Returns and damage
International orders cannot be returned. If your fabric arrives damaged, record an unboxing video and tell us within 48 hours of delivery with photos or video of the damaged area; we refund the value of the damaged fabric (not the shipping).
