How much fabric per skirt

Allow 2.0 - 2.5 m at 44 inch standard width for one finished skirt. 54 inch width is available on request. Bulk discounts apply from 7 metres, rising to 25% off at 100 metres.

Which fabric is best for skirts?

Poly Crepe, Viscose Crepe and Poly Linen Satin are the most-ordered qualities, because a skirt needs enough weight to hold the hemline shape. Poly Crepe runs 80-95 GSM.

What is the minimum order for skirt fabric?

Our fabric is sold by the metre and available from 1 metre, so you can order a sample length before committing. Only our 17 highest-volume, most-trending bases are listed on the website - the full range covers viscose bases, cotton bases, polyester bases, nylon, nylon-cotton blends and polyester-cotton blends. Minimum order for an off-catalogue base is 100 metres, and it needs extra lead time, so plan the order in advance.

Is this fabric ready stock or made to order?

All Clothwala fabric is made to order. Nothing is pre-made stock - we print each order specially for you, which means the design can be customised to your requirement: a different colourway, a larger or smaller print scale, or your own artwork printed on any of our 17 base cloths.

How fast is dispatch?
